How to Apply for your Debit Card
Follow these simple steps to apply and activate your Debit Card
Activate Your Debit Card in 3 Easy Steps:
1. Log in to your account on the Boost Bank app
2. On the Cards page, tap ‘Activate’ and enter the 3-digit CVC
3. Create your 6-digit card PIN
Voila, your Debit Card is activated and ready to use!
Remember, you can easily freeze your card through the Boost Bank app if it is lost or if you notice any unauthorized transactions.

The virtual card is perfect for online shopping, whether you’re making local or international purchases.
The physical card allows you to shop both online and in-store with contact or contactless payments. Plus, with the physical card, you can withdraw cash from PayNet Shared ATMs, MEPS ATMs for domestic use, and any ATM displaying the Mastercard or Cirrus logo when you’re overseas.
To activate contactless payments on your Boost Bank Debit Card, simply make your first in-store purchase using your six-digit PIN. After that, your card will be set up for tap-to-pay convenience on future purchases.
You can simply change your card’s daily spending limits by following these steps:
1. Log in to your account on Boost Bank app.
2. On the Card Dashboard page, tap on “Manage” button.
3. Click on "Card Limits".
4. Select the card limit you would like to change, then input your desired card limits.
5. Click on “Save”, and the new card limit will be updated.
You can freeze your card by following these steps:
1. Log in to your account on Boost Bank app.
2. On the Card Dashboard page, click on the “Freeze” button.
3. Review the information and click “Freeze Card”.
4. Upon confirmation, Boost Bank Debit Card will be shown as frozen on the Card Dashboard page.
Similarly, you can unfreeze your card by clicking on “Unfreeze” button to use your Boost Bank Debit Card again.
Effective 1 July 2026, the RM1 interbank ATM withdrawal fee will be waived nationwide. You can now withdraw cash at participating ATMs nationwide at no extra charge with your Boost Bank Debit Card.
